Bowfin have picked off one darter and most of the gambusia( as expected. Gunna get a stronger power head than the one I already have and gravel substrate from the creek( will be washed thoroughly)

How did you get such small bowfin this time of year?

1. The bowfin won't stop eating the other fish - you'll want a plan for that.
2. A creek without stones? Come on bud :) (Stones would help the other fish survive short-term.)

I've had these bowfin since June. And I am aware on the feeding habits of bowfin lol. I mentioned in the OP I would be adding gravel soon. Thanks

If you got them in June, they would have been about 5 inches, and, they should be a foot long by now. What gives? (This is from personal experience, and given their seasonal breeding habits.)

I've been pretty confused about this also. They are around 5.5 inches. I've fed them very heavily( bloodworms, chopped sunfish, gambusia). I don't think their tank was too small(60 gallon once they hit 3 inches).

Very pretty feeders you put in there ;) , I wonder how long it will take before they are all eaten?

Probably not long. Once I get some more hidey holes and such in there they will do better. I have a very stable stick of them though. This creek is overpopulated with the things.
