I had a guy tell me that my pleco was an L109 hypostomus. But now it is showing redish orange color on its fins. Any idea what it is?

I will try to get some up but he is pretty activ for a pleco so the trick is getting him to stay still.

Well... a L109 is not a hypostomus. It's a Aphanotorulus cf. unicolor. Do need a pic for ID.

that is not it mine is chocolate brown in color with a mottled patterning.

none of those are even close. you know the pattern on a red tail catfish? it looks kind of like that but darker

An LDA42 is a hypostomus and looks alot like the true common pleco the Hypostomus Plecostomus.
