Hey guys, its been a while, and even a longer one since I've updated the 10g planted
tank. I've been busy with school and such, but don't worry the hobby remains in me
strong and healthy.
: Heres the tank June 7th! (It has been a loooong while.
)
It looks pretty nice but I've done and tried a lot since then. I removed the stems on
the left, I really didn't like them I decided. I shortened the intake tube considerably on
the filter, thanks Jawasnack. The hairgrass has spread remarkable well. (maybe thats a
bit exaggerated.
) I've removed the aponogetons, they are absolute space hogs.
And I've also removed the anubias, it got pummeled by algae. Since then I've tried
dwarf sag, I was severely disappointed to be honest. I waited for three month and no
runners appeared. Some things just don't work out I guess. Flustered, I decided to try
and find another foreground plant. After looking around intensely, I settled on Novae
New Zealandia. It's pretty nice but was too big as a foreground plant for me some I
made it a Background/Midground plant. And most recently I've had great success with
one pad of Christmas Moss IMO so I decided to buy three more pads. Thats what
covers the foreground as of now. The browner patches are the new christmas moss,
as its just arrived today. (which compelled me to start this update thread.) Well,
without further ado, here's the tank.
All comments, tips, and questions are welcome.
