Ok so i tried planting my 25g last year..and it was a complete fail...so now im gonan try again in my 10g tank...

10g tank:

I was wondering what light fixture i should but for this tank. Last time my lfs sold me a ****ty light that didnt meet the requirments for my tank..so im coming to u guys to tell me what to buy=D

A light in the neighborhood of 30-50 watts and in the 6700k color range will work great.

You could use anything from 2 regular plastic tank hoods. Running 1 15wt GE daylight 6500k bulb in each. To a 65watt power compact fixture raised above your tank a few inches (4-6"). To a single t5ho fixture rasied above the tank as well.

Get your self a light timer and have what ever light you want run for around 8hrs a day. Untill things settle in and the beginner algae's go away and then you can add photo time if needed.
 
you can use any light fixture that uses daylight spectrum bulbs really with about a 6500k color range
