10gal Salt water

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Go heavy on the pics and update! One great thing about saltwater is even a 10 gallon can be monster.

Good luck, I've heard the smaller the SW tank the more difficult it is to balance. I've thought of doing a 30ish gallon SW tank but was turned off at the idea when I researched that it's just easier to do a 50+ setup. Keep us updated though!

Ive heard that too! I know its true with freshwater from experience as my 55 is much easier than the 10 gallon was! I figure learning hard is good though!

Any suggestions on fish (preferably not really expensive ones) are much appreciated. I am thinking of starting off with some small crustacians and maybe a fish.

Check out the ghetto lights! Throwing some live rock in tommorow, think I could getaway with some crabs or shrimp tommorow?

Must be a cell phone picture (because its small).

I would start with maybe a green/blue chromis or 3, possibly a couple of damsels. These fish average ~$3-$4.

I would wait for the tank to cycle though, one day is NOT long enough.
