I have a 10gal tank setup at my parents house. It has a 10gal HOB filter about 3in of sand and lots of plants and a freshwater clam including some snails that are breeding in there. Its also stocked with 7 small neons. Ive been thinking about getting some guppies to breed in it, 1m 2f. ANy advice onways to get them to breed and ensure that most of the offspring survive. Heres some pictures of the tank, water stays very clear, i think primarily due to the clam.

Thanks guy, what kind of shrimp would u recommend? I've already got a 125 with an rtc in it, lookin to upgrade to a pond soon. Just lookin for a source of some feeders. So guppies, and shrimp, anything else? How do you sex and breed shrimp?

tanks been alive for id say... 2 months now, and i know its alive because you can see it open up slightly and then shut.

I threw 3 males and 1 female in a 20 gallon in my sons bedroom and I can't make them stop breeding. The water is gross, its my most neglected tank.

At the moment there are the original 4, and 18 babies from 2 separate spawns. The 'oldest' group is about 3 months, and just under 1". The 2nd set are about 4 weeks old, and are about 1/2".

Thanks for the feedback, I've been thinking about using them to feed once they reach about and inch
