in NY waiting to get cancer
i have a 10gallon tank with a filter to go with it and i was wondering, is there any carnivorous fish i can keep in there? i want something small but has an appetite. i plan to upgrade depending on what i get. any suggestions?

Congo/Murius puffer or some other form of puffer.

exodon

Arrowana?
JKJK
Not many carnivores can fit into an 10 gallon comfortably maybe a GT cause theyre slow growers ...but i dont know

i would put an eel like a fire eel are a couple of cichlids like 4 or 5

Hmm if you get a small gulper catfish to grow it out? Or maybe a few exodons?

Fire Eels get way too big for a 10Gal tank .

.

persanly i wouldnt go down to the carnivorous fish root , as not many of them type of fish can fit in a 10Gal tank for life .

But if i did i would get most likely a Puffer .

What i would do is a low light planted tank with Shrimp , Clown Pleco , Blind Cave tetra and most likely some Cory .

Not really a monster tank with monster fish but its only a 10Gal tank .

I'd go with a dwarf puffer. Freshwater, tons of personality, and cute as can be until you drop in a tasty snail lol:D
