There is an individual I found who is selling a 10 inch "Tigreno" catfish for 50 dollars. I have not heard of such a thing, and am wondering if its actually a Tigrinis. He has no picture to provide so before I waste my time has anyone heard of a Tigreno? Or should I hop on this as a deal?!

If he's close to you go take a look. What can it hurt? If not get a pic. In this day and age its hard to believe someone cant take a photo at least with a cell phone.
Oh I forgot how close a tiger shovelnose is. Its probably that. I asked him for pictures. Still hopeful that it is a tigrinis though, I am also banking on the fact that he does not seem to know much about anything. he is also selling an "aerowanna." Which is either a spelling mistake or an awesome new hybrid of Aro that can fly.
Bad news guys. Its a 12" silver aro, a tiger shovelnose, about 10", and by his description I think the other is a jaguar cat, also ten". He called the jag an "amazon cat." So the guy wants 100 for the aro and 50 each for the other fish. Not really thinking its worth the drive for me to go get them. If someone is in the Middlebury, IN area though go save those fish.
Oh, did I mention that he had them in a tank that broke so they are now all crammed into a 55? I think one of you with monster tanks should go grab those boys. Here's the add:
