It is not unusual for a single species to have multiple common names as is the case here. Scientific names are unique to each species however.

As for the fish for sale: Outstanding looking fish! Well worth the asking price.
 
They call it a blue aro so it can be smuggled out of Columbia from Brazil. Thats why they call it a blue ari since blacks are illegal to take out of Brazil at some points.
