11" NTT

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Seems like a lot of big wild Ntt's being caught within the last year

Yes its the local's food fish as well so can see them both in the markets and lfs. Population is declining rapidly though which is quite sad.

Broodstock??? Planning a CB programe?

Yes that's right. At least trying to anyway seeing how overfished they are. There's a Japanese researcher in Cambodia who has been trying for the last 3-4 years to breed them without success so far. We've been exchanging notes but we suspect that water depth plays a huge role in the spawning process (10-15 feet). He has dived into the rivers there and observed them at around those depths.

You can read about his exploits here : http://www.reef2rainforest.com/2014/09/04/one-aquarists-quest-to-save-cambodias-imperiled-fishes/

Very nice NTT

Thanks buddy.
