So i'm going to be setting up this 110 gallon tank soon, the dimensions are 60"x18"x24", and i'm looking for your opinions on what to put in it. I don't want common cichlids, or little fish.. I really want to have some exotic pleco's.. What would be the largest pleco that i could put in there(how many inches).

Thanks, Justin

blue and green phantoms would do nice in there. gold nuggets, queens, snowballs are all a good size.

I wouldn't go for anything over 9-10 inches long. those tank dimensions aren't really monster capable, it just lets you keep more of the smaller guys. lots of potential though.

Actually, i think i might do a peacful cichlid community with uaru, guiniacar, etc..

I really like Papa panaqes..

L90 would do fine as long as its 13-15" max. Most of the ones you find are in the 2-3" range and grow painfully slow like most panaques. So you could keep it for many many years. Snookn21 (john) tends to get huge 12"+ L95's, I have had my eye on one of those beasts for awhile but haven't pulled the trigger. This would be a good option if u don't want to wait for you mini monster to grow. Large L14 goldy's pop up pretty often as well. It really depends on what type of pleco's you like. I'm more partial to the panaques myself, so I'm a little biased I guess. I know you don't want to hear this, but if I was you, and I had that tank, and I wanted pleco's...I wouldn't get a big one or two, i'd get a group of 8-10 L134's. They stay smaller but are by far the most comical fish I have ever owned. Whatever you decide keep us updated!
