110 Gallon aquarium price

I have someone willing to sell me a 4 x 2 x 2 (about 110) gallon aquarium. Is it worth it for 150? Its the tank only and does not have a cover (I'll have to build the canopy with lights).

Where could I get a stand for the thing if I don't want to build it? I don't think its a standard size.

if its 4x2x2 its a standard 120 gallon and you should have no trouble finding stand/top that will fit..

I'll have to confirm the dimensions. Its custom built so I think I will need to get a canopy instead of a cover. I can live with that.

So its a good price?

for ct thats a pretty good price.. not a whole heck of a lot of "big" tanks in the northeast... for socal it would be a bit high but not too high IMO

in my area, a 110 goes for around 300 canadian brand new from the LFS, so at least in my area, it is not a bad deal..

I'm not in a rush to buy the thing. If I buy it now, its going to sit in my basement until I can get the money together for a stand for it (my wife is happy to go with the bigger tank if we get a nice stand). What would be a reasonable price to pay for such a thing? I figure I will offer him 100. Not being upset about letting it go is a nice bargaining position.
