Hey guys. Made quite a few changes over the months since I last posted this setup.

I’ve added a group of Acaronia vultuosa to this setup which already housed a group of Rio Nanay Angels,Geophagus sp. Gurupi, and some Hujeta Gars. Really liking how this is coming out.

Those vultuosa look very nice compaired to the ones on Google. The ones I seen on there didn't even have those nice blue pearls like your have. Never heard of em before now. They have any relatives in the same family or are they apart of their own group? Also any idea how big they get?

They have one relative which is far more common. A. Nassa. These apparently grow to around 8” for males and slightly smaller for females based on the limited info out there in them.

How big are the hujeta gars? I’m guessing somewhere between 6” and 8”. Also did ya get them from aqua imports?

The two smaller ones are around 5”. The larger one is 6-7”. I got them from a local store.

Huh, neat. They kind of look like what I would imagine ya getting from crossing a Jaguar Cichlid with a blue acara. Lol if that would even be possible.
