Hey everyone! added a little to the 110 wanted to see what everyone thought.

Here's my stock:
1-6'' Jack Dempsey
1-6'' Red Devil
1-7'' RTCxTSN ( temporary)
1-4'' Green Terror
2- 4'' Convicts

Just trying to get good opinions on stock. Like to stick with CA/SA cichlids. Having a few problems with what I have. None of my fish are freely swimming, they all kind of hide. I've checked all the water and it's fine, tanks clean. Temperature is fine. Nothing I can think of for them to all hide all the time. The convicts breed alot and they stay on the left side of the tank, and the rest chill on the right side of the tank. Maybe someone can enlighten me to why they just hang out and don't move a lot?

From my previous experience tanks with breeding cons can become a hell hole for the other inhabitants. If your convicts are terrorizing the rest of the tank that's why the other fish are hiding.

Thanks! I'll try taking the cons out

Nice setup. You may want to consider adding some dither fish, although with that stock it may be difficult. Try something like a school of Giant Danios or Silver Dollars.

set up looks nice i guess 1ce they get strong and big they would start moving around :)

Sweet setup... i want a background like that!

Yeah I got it for $40 at petland. It's actually one of the reptile backgrounds.

If u like the cons take out the female... Leave the male and add some dithers...

The male con will be very active alone IME... Giant danios never sit still and will prob draw the other fish out some...

Sweet looking tank by the way...

Thanks! Yeah I might try some giant danios. Anything else I could put?
