1100 gallon pool

hello i have purchased a 1170 gallon pond . i am putting this inside a garage i have so far bought some bio ballz and a new bin to make a filter till i have enough money to buy 20,000 bio ballz to fill my bio tower i will also use a canister filter designed fer 25,000 gallon pools. anyway i intend to use bathroom extractor fans probblem is
if i use a tube for the air to exit the tube will be lower then the fan at exit pont does this matter? and can i hook most bathroom fans to power points?

any reason for using bio balls over scrubbies ?

scrubbies im assuming u mean the brighly coloured round things. if u do i have never seen any in aus and using scouresrs is way to expensive how many scrubbies or scourers to fill a 10 foot x1foot wide biotower?

hmmm well might want to try looking in to cleaning supply places for those big round pads they uses on floor cleaners . they are very cheap but you will need to cut they up but have quite a bit more bio area than bio balls .

those are used in a lot of koi ponds and are very cheap and can be cut to any shape size you want .

um there 14 bux a back of 5 id need alteast 500 so where am i saving money?

thanks fer helping seriously i thank you 20,000 would cost me a little less. its just either way im gonna spend a heap id rather go wid bioballz becaus e easier to put itno the tower

oj no problem just round here your looking at like 1 pound for a bio ball so 20 000 is a bit much for my taste
