Hello, my name is rick
I came across a craigslist ad for a 110g tank/stand/hood/light/filters/heater/currently set up with this stock: 1 flowerhorn ciclid (worth 200) "1 fire mouth ciclid 2 jack dempsy ciclids 2green terror ciclids 2 terquios jewel ciclids must take fisk and everything must pick up". In my area it is extremely difficult to grab a FH which ive been craving badly for some time. I def. want to move on this deal but is it overstocked, and to what point? What to keep, what to give to LFS? (I WANT a FH, but will it do ok with others?) I currently have a small (3-4 inch) tiger oscar in a 30g grow out tank that I would move to this home as well, (I rescued him, part of the family now). Comments plz

You could always keep them for the time being and ask around and see if anyone wants them or if worse comes to worst try to give them to a LFS that you know will take care of them and they might hook you up with credit or cash. Where you located at ?

I'll tell you after I move on it, Mr. Ohio =P

If the tank is overstocked and you decide to purchase the tank and accessories with it's current occupants, I would do it and see about getting a temporary holding tank, like a "Rubbermaid" water trough used for farm live-stock. Temporarily re-home the excess fish in it until you are able to place them in a regular aquarium. Just ensure you cover the stock tank if needed (some fish may jump out), along with having the required filtration needed for the fish occupying the stock tank, if it's a do-able solution for you. I hope this is helpful for you. Best of luck to you in this endeavor. ~ David

Lol im broke and have no need to swipe a tank from you, i was just wondering so if you were close to me or cbus i could suggest some places to go to try to sell the fish lol, just trying to help out sheesh lol. and i am looking at bigger tanks like 125 and up and haven't had much luck lol

I feel it. Lol i just saw some of your posts about trying to find a tank =D Got a little nervous. Anyways suggestions on what fish could stay in the 110 and what would need to go/find a new tank?

PS im due north of cbus.

Depends on a lot of things really like how much filtration you have and if you plan on keeping them for life etc. and it also depends on their sizes as well to how long you could keep them as far as stocking goes im kinda new to it but i know my oscar quickly outgrew the other fish i had and just pretty much swallowed anything i put in there with him.. im sure other members could give you more input as far as stocking goes i just know from my experience my oscar was a pig lol.

Looks a bit over stocked, not sure. Get the tank, sell the fish you don't want off.

But consider if your willing to pay the PRICE for JUST the setup (excluding the fish), then you can think of giving the fish away to a better home or like I said before, try to sell them off.
