rocky mount,NC
Oscar -- yeah, definitely, Maybe even 2.

TSN -- No. This is way too small.

Any other catfish?

4 Line Pim's should work .

Lima Catfish
maybe , but could be pushing it a little as they do grow to about 12+ inch .

Any other ideas on fish that are cool to top view ?

Sting Ray . But they will get way to big for a 110Gal .

Pleco's are nice for above to look at .

its on sale for 40$ should i get it ?

also what whould be something neat to though in there i though like a oscar and a tsn

all tips and opinions are very helpful my 260gal build i thought was gonna happen is probaly not due to i need something thats more move able
I have 3 of these style tubs/watering throughs/stock tanks, (whatever you want to call them), mine are of various sizes. I like the 110 gal best. It is very sturdy and stable, and easy to set up/tear down quickly. At $40 per, that is a BARGAIN, I would buy two or three. (But that is jsut me and they fit my set up very niccely and that happens to already be at the top of my list for patio expansion of fish housing).
Personally I will not use any more of the 165 gal version. They seem to be weak at the base where the bottom and the sidewall are seamed together. (Poor design for this volume of water? or maybe misuse, as a fish pond/tub, of the product on my part) My 165 gal begins bulging at about 125 - 130 gals. That is why I am eyeballing some more of the 110's.

After I replace it with some new 110s, I will probably turn it into a water treatment/aging vessel, so the (eventually) bursting base & sidewall seam will only spill some water instead of spilling my fish.

good luck, and thanks for the info about the TSC sale.

I've got 2 40 gallon ones at home, One for my horses, one I'm using as an outdoor pond. the pond just gets emptied, hosed down and moved into the basement each year and holds everything over winter. Never had any issues. been tempted to go bigger more 'n a few times.

Thats a good buy for sure, cheapest way that I know of to get a small pond started

i realy need to now on stocking

this tank will be in my basement so it wont be to much of a problem of heating

now what about for filtration ? a 5gal bucket sump with 2 maxijet 1200s ? that would be 600gph what size of tube for the siphon to the bucket ? any special overflow or sihpon to use ?
