115 Pound Catfish Caught In Missouri

Unlimited food, heavy current passing by it.... $5 says it was a helluva lot of tasty cornbreaded fried fish. Just saying. 
I once helped a very poor man land (I wound up jamming my arm into its mouth and grabbing a gill blindly after the hook popped out) a VERY large catfish out of the Ohio River. I was about 8, but still understood this gentleman wouldn't feed his family unless the fish got to land. It got onto land.
I admit it was funny, I grabbed the fish by the gill from the inside, the old man grabbed me around the neck and pulled to keep me from swimming.
Mercury levels aside (along with other nasty pollutants) - we take for granted the people that have to feed their families this way. You'd be suprised how much spare rusty hooks and "dead" fishing line will help.
Btw - Noodlers are out of their drunken minds. -_- I've been bitten by catfish and snapping turtles. Both suck.
