12-14 inch cichlids

I was wondering, is there a cichlid that would grow to be between 12 and 14 inches that could be put with a JD, a GT and maybe others cichlids about the same size as those two. So what could be the bigger cichlid and what other cichlids i could put with it ? They would be in a 200 gal. or a 250 gal. and they would be with a common plec. l001

I would do Texas cichlid, Oscar, Chancho, & Trimac. I would pick the Texas they are my favorite or if you can find a red texas those are the best!

Before people chime in and say they will not get a long but honestly depends on the fishes personality. I have a peaceful tank right now with giants with Texas, Red devils, Flowerhorns and more. Range from 1" to 12" and all get a long.

Its hard to beat the personality of an oscar but a midas, texas, trimac, anything in the paraneetropolus genus, chocolate cichlid, or one of the more mild mannered pike cichlids should work

That is one of the main reasons why I love Texas is their personality. Don't get me wrong they're aggressive but not as aggressive as other cichlids. Very beautiful as well.

I know they would work I had a Green Terror with actually a school of texas cichlids 4-8 inches and 5 of them.
I had one Jack Dempsey but he was a loner he was always in his cave or just hanging out by himself.

I forgot to mention VIEJA species! I had Vieja synpsum and they got huge and males get a nice hump on them. I had a school of them as well with the above fish.

i was always wondering, any cichlids that has the same form as JD ?

Maybe consider a true Parrot Cichlid Hoplarchus psittacus.
