Hey everyone... Some of you might be sick of my V. maculicauda male but I'm not. ;)

This fish was in bad shape when I got him. Purchased from a typical hole in the wall LFS and I have no idea what his history is. Malnourished and riddled with internal parasites (I think there's a connection between the two ;)) I have been nursing him back to health since the beginning of May.

After (9/25/2011):

That second picture was taken by Cavamart today. :)

In case anyone is wondering, I gave him a quick treatment for internal parasites and then began giving him 2x weekly 50% water changes and an exclusive diet of NLS Thera A formula pellets. Now, I'm not here to tell anyone what to feed their fish, but for anyone doubting they can get results from a pellet alone can take a look at those two pictures. And don't forget the water changes!

You should be proud of yourself. He looks great! The changes from May are clearly apparent. There's a lot of improvement in both growth and coloration. I agree that the NLS and water change combo works wonders.

Looking good.water changes always work wonders(may not agree on the food but it is working for you so keep it up,he will be work of art in no time)

He Looks great! I once had 2 GT's picked up from an LFS that were really banged up, not parazites but probably previously kept with smth big and agressive. Fins torn up, scales missing..... anyways I took them in, took care of them and feed them pellets also and they recovered really well, just like urs.

He looks like a different blackbelt lol you have done a great job with him just look at hes colours and shape.

Thanks Darren.
