12 Clown Loaches in 4x2x2 tank?

What do you guys think, will it be ok to keep 12 inch clown loach in a 120 gallon tank? i have 12 pcs clown loaches ranging from 4-7 inches in my bigger 8 feet tank, planning tomove them to smaller tank and give my rays the bigger tank.

you guys think the loaches will be ok with the smaller tank?
both tank has sump filtration.

I had 6 clowns that ranged from 4-9" in a 4x2x2. They looked cramped and crowded in my opinion. I upgraded to a 5x2x2 and honestly, still feel like my largest clowns could use at least another foot of tank.

thanks I'll just try to mix them with my rays they are too big for my Rays , my worry is that my Rays might not be able to get to food.
