7 inch limaX 2

Severum...6 inches.

I have been let down by my original purchase of a 6 inch ornate but can get hold of a 12 inch.

the problem i am contemplating is this....

1...are the above fish safe in a 100 English gallon tank

2...I have a endi endi in a grow out tank at present at only 2 inches. how fast will he catch up to be safe with the ornate?

Risk assessment please......I don't see the endi as too much of a problem as he is safe but what about the rest actually in the tank with them

It should work for a while. But soon your gonna have to upgrade to a 180. The Endli will catch up and be safe in 6 months with good waterchanging and good feeding.

yea would work

That 6" lima might get eaten. A friend of mine got a 8" tsn x rtc hybrid and it got eaten by his 12" ornate. If you really want to mixed them make sure the ornate is eating a lot. What happened to his was the hybrid catfish was eating most of the food and the ornate only eat what's left and decided to get rid of the competion.

:D

lookig at the severum now i think he is more like 9 inches rom top-bottom and front to back. i just can't see it happening at present but it's not to say it will not in the near Future

Thanks for your input, i will start looking for a new home or him.

Will he be OK in with my Peacock Bass.....:screwy::ROFL:

I dont think you have problems with bigger severums, just keep your ornates well feed :)
