I have 12 5 Inch red bellies in a 60x18x24 tank
just wondering how much longer they will last in this tank and what size I should upgrade too

Seems to be a suitable size for now (if not for life) RBP are not the most active swimmers so I'd say a larger footprint wouldn't really be unnecessary.

Agreed! Looks fantastic and great color on them. Luckily the growth rate will slow down a ton! so in 2 years or so when they hit max size it will be cramped as they will nearly double in size, so its your choice to upgrade now or later but trust me when i say its easier moving teens then big adults. I can see a 180 or 220 working fine.. Just keep up on water changes and or use Pothos as a way to reduce nitrates/cut down on wc(link below)
