shrmp are expensive.i fed pollac fillets. now i've moved to northern pike. their free and there fun to fish for.when i had my 14 large rbp they would go through a bread bag in around two weeks
usually when i throw half a fillet in they dont eat it as fast. the shrimp get eaten right away so the food doesnt sit around and they get pellets aswell
That sounds delicious! Free is always better
Yea ime rbp seem to go for shrimp over fillets, but shrimp isn't necessarily the healthiest thing to feed them, and make sure there isn't any additives or preservitives in the shrimp, lots of commercial protein is injected with various substances to preserve and make them more tender, i've always preferred talapia fillets.
