Hello,
For sale is an approximately 12" wallagonia micropogon. The price I am asking is $100, and is mostly to cover delivering the fish and to make sure you really do actually want the fish. It is highly negotiable if you can show you would be a good home.
The backstory on me and this fish is made an uninformed decision, thinking the fish was similar to a full grown bumblebee catfish, when I bought the wallagonia micropogon catfish at an auction some months ago. It was about six inches then and is close to a foot now. From what I has read these fish can get to be four feet. I care about the fish's well being and I will not be able to accommodate the catfish's growth and have to give him up. I have been informed the fish needs a tank or pond of at least over several hundred gallons. Someone please correct me if the catfish requires more.
I will deliver the fish to the NJ area, meaning NJ, NY, CT, PA, DE, and maybe even some place like MD, if I decide you are a good home for the wallagonia micropogon. Alternately, the catfish can be picked up at my home in NJ or I can meet you somewhere. It would also be nice to see a picture of the pond or tank you are going to put him in.
