12 x 36" pond questions

how many gallons would that be?
i would do a pump upto a rubbermaid trickle with a gravity return for a filter....

how do you heat it??
it would probably go in a basement (when i get a basement) with some insulation below and to the sides of it

I might use the pool as a liner in a DIY setup ,lots of guys building indoor ponds on this forum and they seem much more sturdy then a rubber side wall especially if you want to keep cats, just my humble opinion..

even cats like a RTC and TSN ? i for sure wouldn't put in a ripsaw or anything like that

I wouldn't do it justin. It's cheep but in the end you'll be better off doing your own DIY pond. and it will be much more sturdy. do you really want to leave your niger out of a pond this size? long term use the $50 to buy lumber or a pond liner for a DIY open top "pond". I have seen people use these but I wouldn't trust one in my basment.
