Could you put these in a 120 with great filtration? Would they be healthy, or is it a lost cause? The only fish I have now is the pleco, who lived in a 10 gallon the first 2 years of his life (not with me) and I'm totally attached.he's about 5-6 inches now but obviously he could grow quite a bit. We'll be using a sump which will add some water, but not certain how much. What do you guys think?

It can be done but you need to keep up on waterchanges and have good filtration.

A common pleco I assume? Like agree with Mike, just do lots if good water changes and filter well.

Thanks for the advice! Yes he is a common pleco..he is probably somewhat stunted but I'm hoping he'll n)get big!

should be fine with a 50% waterchange a week once the oscars grow you really will have to do the changes, or your o's will get hole in the head disease... get used to wc every sunday even if its a small amount while they are small... and use prime.

I do 50%s even withou being overstocked, hardy fish can take the change and that's less filth in the water.

and you get good growth, i always do 50-70 on ma 300!-)

Cause it will be tight and require military like maintenance. ..
