stuck and need help i have a 120 5x2x2 aquarium that im turning into a sw tank but i dont know wat kind of filtration to use should i use the two marineland canister filters i have on it right now r should i get a sump

Depends on what kind of stuff you want to have in it. A sump is really only additional water.

im planing on putting a coral catshark pup in it thats about 8"

PERSONALLY, I would use a sump. In experience canister filters make the nitrates spike where sumps use biological filtration to dissolve the nitrates, nitrites and ammonia. If you do a sump right away its less you ned to do later if you do have problems with these. And in the future if you want to do corals or nems a sump would be better for them also.
