Greetings to all,
I have a new 120 gallon acrylic tank, 4' x 2' x 2', and need some filtration advice. The tank has a built in centered overflow box with two 1" drains and two 3/4" returns. The tank will mainly be used for two Oscars and nothing more. The stand has plenty of room underneath. The dimensions for the stand are 4'L x 2'W x 3'H.
Thank You.

What is your question? Plumb the drains to a sump, do a search around here for sump designs if you need help there.

Sounds like this tank had two smaller return pumps running on it. That is a good fail safe, you could plug one hole and make the other larger if you wanted to use one big pump.

Simple: A DIY wet/dry setup........

Go to your local Office Depot or TARGET....What you are looking for is the plastic 3-drawer setup.....It goes for $8.99-10.99.......Then purchase one of the plastic 33g-55g plastic storage containers, they retail for $9.99-12.99.......Get yourself a powerful pump, I like the Rio 20HD($79.99) for 100-125g.....Buy a bunch of sponges that will fill up the second drawer...Go to your local Chinease surplus store, they sell sponges DIRT CHEAP......FO the top drawer, purchase enough filter floss to stand 4-5 inches high thick.........The bottom drawer is up to you.......You can either spend $40-80 on brand Bio balls or you can fill up the drawer with $20 worth of sponges...........These are the basic ingredients to a DIY wet/dry.......Go to the DIY forum for more info....Basically, you will convert the 3-drawer into a filter and place it into the large plastic storage container(which is your DIY sump).......The piping is easy.......If you do not have any experiencewith PVC piping, the use flex tubing.............
