My house.
So I am building a custom 120 gallon tank with dimensions of 48"Lx25"Wx25"H and a custom stand to go with it I have already have two 70 gallon aquaclear filters that hang on the back a 400W heater and a power head so I think I have enough hardware to keep the water properly clean and circulated. However, I was wondering if i will have enough room for my two leopard ctenopoma, senegal bichir, royal pleco, two rubber lip pleco, african butterfly fish, african brown knife, banjo catfish, hongkong loach, and either my peacock eel or three rope fish? I know that seems like a lot but the tank will be pretty big and none of the fish should be two massive. I am just not positive on the bioload.

thats 10 fish in only 4 foot space, seems like it would be too tight eventually.i am not sure how fast some of those fish grow.some plecos get huge.as for bioload i would add a canister in addition to the aquaclears, and run the AC with 2 sponges in each plus media

You don't have to make a custom one... some brands make 4x2x2s... I got my 4x2x2 recently and it was a new perfectco tank from my lfs. probibly cheaper to but one... but stands are cheaper to make...

if they were africans ( 10 fish ) you could do more, with africans its better to overstock a little to reduce aggression. but i see that you dont want to do africans, so i have no idea.

Not enough filtration and too much bioload. You should do two aq110. And hook the powerhead to a sponge filter. The royal Pleco alone is a huuuuuuge bioload. Plus with another Pleco and a bunch of fish.

My fish life is sparked up with Polys :)
