I recently bought a 120 gallon tank. haven't bought anything for it yet. The fish I want are:2 or 3 blood parrots that I know I want/ 1 or 2 firemouths. 1 convict. 1 flowerhorn, a frontosa, and a red severum. Would these fish get along? And also what gravel size should I get for them since I know they like to dig? I don't want sand

I'm personally not a fan of blood parrots, if you want to keep parrots get a few true parrots. Firemouths do better in groups of 6 or 8 convicts also like to be in a group until they pair up. A flowerhorn would need a tank that size to itself to reach its full potential,
Everything is good except the flowerhorn and i would do without the frontasa as they should have different water params. Gravel would be whatever you prefer. I personally would rather have fine gravel. I had regular gravel and hated it and its hard to clean good especially in bigger tanks.
Well its because I saw a couple of youtube videos to see what cichlids they had together and some had flowerhorns with firemouths and convicts.
