I'm in Savannah, Georgia.
This tank is between is just a little over three years old. We moved to a new location, and I don't really enjoy it as much in the bedroom.
My loss is your gain.
The tank and stand alone cost $2000. The fish are worth another $1000. Plus I have crap loads of extras and great filtration so low ball me. I'm pretty firm on my price. Feel free to offer me more.
Everything I have fish related is going.
120 Gallon tank with canopy and stand.
Fish are all mostly African Cichlids (Mbuna) with a few algae eaters and two I don't knows. There is roughly 30 fish. But they are for the most part over 3" Some even hit the 6" mark.
There is a great deal of drift wood in this tank it goes too. Everything goes.
The sand is Chiclid sand, it's about $25 a bag at exotic underworld. There is probably about 10 bags already in the tank, and another 1 1/2 bags sitting to the side.
The sump is home made, it's a 55 gallon tank with about 12 gallons worth of bio balls. Way over done
And a 8x13 filter sock.
There are two pumps, one pushes water back to the tank, and the other forces the water through a UV filter and back into the entry point of the sump.
As long as you clean the sock weekly (machine washable, or replaceable at exotic underworlds for $10) your tank will stay clean.
The lights are not the cheap lights, I've included a picture. I can't remember what they are called. But they are rather bright. I would grow plants if the fish wouldn't eat them.
There is also a tank monitor that alerts you if the tank gets to hot or to cold and keeps up with your tank maintenance.
The glass is rather good shape, a few low scratches, but nothing that you would notice if you weren't looking for them.
I have a lot of supplies to go with this.
Several five gallon buckets.
Several fish nets (all big, one HUGE)
150 gallon tank for preparing water.
Extra tank heaters, a few misc pumps
Lots of fry (baby fish) food
Concentrated Melafix large container
Pema fix
Aqua stress coat
water conditioner for Lake Malawi (that is what these Cichlids are)
water conditioner for Lake Tanganyika (spelling?) This is pretty useless unless you have a tank with those type of fish.
Lots of siphon hose. (Reaches from the back of my house to the front for water changes.) A sump pump for pushing the water from the back of the house to the tank in the front.
And practically everything else you see in these pictures fish related.
A giant hang on the back filter (rated for a 100 gallon tank I think).
Have questions give me a call at 912-925-9132.
Do not call to low ball me. At this time I will not consider coming down on the price.
