My LFS just got a 120 in on a trade so I offered to trade my 40L, 40B(both leak), 20L, 2.5, and 25 for the 120. Problem are the tank leaks (which is no problem for me) and the bottom and top trim are toast.

Searching and googling pulled up people suggesting glasscages who doesn't sell 24" x 48" frames. Plus most of their frames on large tanks they build appear to be purely asthetic and providing no structural support.

I need to know what the best option for fixing the trim would be, if possible, is there a source of legitimate frames for this tank? I could find nothing on the perfecto or allglass sites about ordering or even stocking frames.

FYI: the 120 is an older tank, glass is 1/2" thick. If it matters.

Make one out of wood.

I had seen that mentioned during my searches. Didn't see one write-up or pics of anyone who had done it. I'd be worried about warping.

I wouldn't even know where to begin on that one with it being even slightly asthetically appealing.
