I've got an aquaclear 110 and an aqueon 55, will get a canister come christmas to manage the adult bioload of these fish. My current stock is;;;

Common Pleco
Severum
Blue Acara
5 Silver Dollars

I was thinking I could maybe bump the SD shoal to 6 or 7, add a pair of convicts or firemouths, and a JD or GT. Would this overstock the tank? If you've got some other cichlid that might go well I'm open to suggestions.

Are the dimensions 4x2x2? If they are, I wold think so.
Silver dollars get quite large

no pairs

The dimensions are 5'x18". Once again, these aren't redhooks, they're argentus. The pairs a bit of a "look forward to", is it incompatible with my current stock or just my suggestions? GT/JD would be on it's own.

your stocks fine

So is the stock okay or not?

I would only get one of each cichlid. If they pair up you will have trouble. If you want a pair get another tank, cichlids as parents are extremely aggressive. Maybe the Firemouths would be okay, but get a Green Terror. When they are adults the long flowing fins will look great in that tank.

So if I wanted a pair, the pair is alone? Understandable. Could I move the new fish to this;;;

7 SDs
Common Pleco
Severum
Blue Acara
Green Terror
Jack Dempsey

So that there's no pairs?

I like this stock list. I would personally lose the pleco because when it gets larger it will be an eye sore with all of those beautiful fish. I would get a gold nugget or two bristlenose plecos.
