I'll be getting my new 120g tank this weekend. I already have my amphilophus red isletas, my JD and pleco and channel cat. What else should i put in it?

A 120 gallons you have many options. Red Devils, Midas, Hogaboomorums they are all in the Amphilophus family. Or you can look at the Carpintis, Green terror. The list is long. PM if you have a good fish store up there.
get rid of the channel cat and you could probably add 2 more medium growing cichlids like carpintis, GT, etc im not sure on the aggression of the red isletas though and amphilophus can be bruisers soo not sure what could get along with them
Add a nice Green Terror or a synspilum in that mix...happy to see people from around my area in the forum...I'm from Trenton
All Aquatics in Hamlton is a good fish store...and Hidden Reef in PA is pretty good also.
I actually found 3-4 people who also live around here, small world! anyway, the red isletas has really no information on it anywhere you look since they're newly imported , but he is pretty aggressive, definitely more aggressive than my JD
