Midas, Red devil, Flowerhorn, and texas. Get them all as juveniles! They might mate since they all are relatives of each other.
Thats how my tank is I have a monster Midas 16 inches, 10 inch Texas,tons of red devil midevils ( My fish mated), and Kamfa flowerhorns.
Okay so my red devil and midas I've had for 6 years so far. I got the Midas when it was a few years old. They all get along but make sure to avoid aggression. My big male gets mad at times I take him out and put him back in a few days. He gets mad because he wants to spawn and his gf won't let him anymore...lol

Yeah I saw one of Jason's fahakas he had and it was pushing 2' in a 265. I'm leaning towards a midas or maybe a jag or RTM pair or something
Thanks.....as many know midas(and others in the midas complex) make some of the best pets for tanks 75g and up...tank in pic is a 150 and the pic in my avatar is another midas I had in a 120g...both have passed on to fish heaven...after keeping mostly midas from 2000-2014 I now keep primarily parachromis species....my current Rred tiger motas while not as bold as midas also make good wet pets......cich78 : that's a hottie there
