Great looking tank. How long do you think th's plywood tank will last over all. Would one last for 15 years or who knows really.

Wow looks great.

Thanks, lots of work into it.

Great looking tank. How long do you think th's plywood tank will last over all. Would one last for 15 years or who knows really.

This one I would assume it will last forever as it is strong as a boat. I build it so strong that when I water fill it, there is not even a single sound on the tank. It is all glue together and screw and the fiber glass throughout the tank really hold this together.

I like your in line water heater. Does it have a thermometer to shut off when the set temp is reached? Any concern with melting the pvc pipe?

I have a rancho controller for it, so it is auto on and off. As for melting PVC I have the heater below the water line so there will always be enough water fully submerge the heater when I turn off the pump and with my design I have enough water in the sand filter and the PVC pipe to cool off the heater even I have my pump turn off for a long period. Heater works very good and cheap as well. It change 4 Celsius in 10 hours for this tank. Very efficient and easy to replace as well.
