Hi,
ok, so i have a 120g (48x20x28) (LxWxH), witha 10" silver arow, 3 silver dollars and a pair of 10" severums, i have just moved the discus that were in there into a planted 60g. i would like some kind of cichlid to go with them, not worried about price or avaliability ill find one if i need to lol. Oh and the filtration is a eheim proffesional 2 and a aqua one CF1000. Thanks guys :)

PS. as you can see from the picture it is not heavily decorated, (the divider has gone, as the fish in there went to DanDanUK) and the clown loaches are in the 60g)

Why did i know u would come up with that lol, ive been having problems with my bottom dwellers (as you know) so im going off them for a while, how about a gar of some sort? i was thinking spotted, but then again i really like salvinis and red terrors :P

A RED DEVIL! ........just kdding,I would try a gold nugget pleco.

 :D
long as it isn't an alli, there seems to be a lot around here lately. How about something like a flagtail. Or a chalceus sp.

I think a salvini would be a good choice. Would definitely stand up to the severums. But then again, I'm a big fan of the salvini...beautiful cichlids

Good luck

I would say go with the salvini but he'll soon try and take the tank to himself and possibly bang up the sevs pretty good. I love salvinis. Such an awesome fish! IMO I think an oscar would be a bad choice for that setup as well.

Get a geophagus. They are some of the most interesting fish, and most of them won't get overly agressive with your aro. Plus a geo would love that sand.

BTW What kind of sand is that? It looks great.:)
