It's coming along. The driftwood still floats so I had to stack rocks on top of it to hold them down. Once they sink I'll be able to finish up the aquascaping but it's coming along.

It's my 2nd phase growout for my Dovii..

6"+ Male Dovii
4" Female Dovii
4" Male Convict
2.5" Female Convict
2x 5" Senegals
1x 9"+ Ropefish

I'm moving most of the fish as my male Dovii is extremely aggressive and even though the Cons have wigglers the Dovii will not allow them to go near the wigglers  He keeps the cons up in the corners. Most of you know how aggressive Convicts are (the male bit me several times yesterday, just added the Dovii yesterday as well). So a male convict with fry hiding in the corner speaks for the aggression of the Dovii.

Anyway, some pics:

i want a dovii again so badly, can you get a video of this setup, awesome fish

Awesome setup. Also that driftwood is really nice

Thanks guys.. yea I'll get a video for you.

The driftwood was found in a local lake. The only good thing about going to my mother in laws house is she lives in a cove on the lake so I can look for driftwood :D

As requested a video. I really need some new bulbs though cause he has very little coloration in the video. But thats what I get for using cheap $4 Lowes bulbs :D

That is really nice man. I really like the contrast of the plants, sand and driftwood. I'm surprised that the Dovii are tolerating the convicts.

Where are the Dovii going to be in the end?

They aren't.. I had to move the male Convict as he was getting beat badly. The female is still in there since she has fry. But I'll move them if they get too bad.

As for future tank.. dunno yet but obviously something bigger ;)

I have 5 dovi, from 9 inches to 5 inches, in with a breeding pair of convicts. The tank they are in is 85 inches long, 30 inches wide and 24 inches tall,it is a custom job I had made by Marineland.

My two big dovis the 9 inch male and the 8 inch female are starting to take over a corner of the tank, I am expecting eggs soon.

I bought the group of dovi 6 months ago from Ken at fishfarm.

There are also a group of six, 6 inch clown loaches in the tank
