120gl stocking

I am in the process of setting up my 120. I have another thread about things to get for it.

It will be unplanted. and for sure house a bullhead (I think it is spotted so 11" but could get bigger if it is not a spotted) and a common pleco that can get huge.

What else can I have in there with them? Do you think the bullhead will bother the pleco? The pleco is growing but not near as fast as the bullhead. I have a 55gl that the pleco can stay in until he gets bigger.... I just know soon the bullhead has to come out, he is gonna eat my tetra lol

I would love to use sand, if I cant use sand I would do bare bottom. I just am not interested in gravel in this huge thing.

Fish temperments vary as much as with people. I keep some 2" Giant danios with my 14" Pacu and 8-9" Oscars....they could be easily eaten but are not. Your pleco may or may not be ok with the bullhead. As far as stocking goes you could do about anything really. Personally Id do 2 oscars, 2 tinfoils, maybe a severum or two....your bullhead.

I dont think the bullhead would pick at the pleco. Espically if you have a hiding place

depens on what kind of fish you want really. BH are not aggressive at all from what I know so any mates that wont fit in his mouth are OK. I honestly would do some delhezi birchirs, senegals and maybe a ornate and some top water fish like a couple barracuda or something like that.
