i have a 125gal
5BloodParrots 4-5"(seen 1 layeggs)
3kirrin parrots2"
1jd 8"
1silver aro 8"

i was thinkin about addin either
a midas a reddevil or severums

but im worried about aggression
so i think im leanin toward the sevs
should ipick up a male or female
or you think ihave room for a trio?
any tips

Wouldn't put a midas or red devil in. A sev or 2 might work out for you.

Rd usually max out at 10''. how big is a 46gal bow front? i would go with sev's.

Skip the Devil in a community tank unless you're starting with one thats really small. Then be sure to keep an on him...

And if you should do a male or female try for male.

My experience from the females in a community tank is if the lay eggs, they get real territorial. Which leads to pain some times death of others in tank. Not cool

For a Devil in a tank you reffered to? Yeah sure! Just start out small so you don't have to run out and buy yet anouther tank to support his bigg butt.

Red Devils are one awesome fish! You will have fun with him even by himself!

I wouldn't add anything more to that tank until you get rid of/move the silver aro. Red devil/midas would not be good tankmates for your aro and would take 50%+ of the territory in your tank someday. And to the other guy.. 46gallon is much too small for a red devil for life.

maybe females, males get 12-14" easy when kept in the right conditions.

if you move the silver aro, you will be able to house another cichlid of your choice. A 125g is too small for a silver aro.
