Im currently working on resetting up the 125. It was a saltwater tank, but life didnt allow me the time to maintain it, so it fell to the wayside, then sat empty for a while. Well now is the time to reboot it, going SA/CA cichlids this time around.

125G 6ft tank dual drain, dual returns
3 full spectrum 120watt LED fixtures
Eshopps WD-300 wet/dry
20G tall hospital/grow out/time out, etc tank. This is plumbed into the display, but can be separated with a few valve turns
Mag12 return
about 90lbs of black blasting sand
about 90lbs of black/white granite

Started off here, with this dry, dirty tank from my last set up.

Canopy is back up, with lights, sand and rock. I dont have the lights dialed to where I want them yet, theyre too blue in this picture, theyve since been whitened up a bit

But tank is mid cycle right now, should hopefully get some live plants and fish in there soon

Nice ! What is your stock list

the knowns are
GT
JD
Red spot severum
Salvini
Yellow labs 1m-3f? Fry would probably never survive, but thats ok
BN Pleco 2?
Red tailed shark

I'll probably figure out some smaller sub 6" fish, but not entirely sure what kind yet.
and yes, there's always the possibility they may be eaten.

Well, I got the labs, JD, 1 pleco, and went with a rainbow shark instead of the red tailed. read they were a bit less aggressive.
Rainbow lasted less than 24hrs before I found him stuck in the return nozzle. Not quite sure how he got in there. I'll have to find another one that's slightly larger so it cant wedge itself in there again.
The rest I haven't found locally yet, a few more places to try before I have the closest shop order them.

The JD being the last addition so far, is a bit skittish and was hiding most of the time, but he seems to be coming out of his shell and not running from me too much any more, if there's no one near by, he's zooming all over the tank.
The Yellow labs will damn near eat out of my hand.

Also planted a java fern, and some sort cryp, hopefully those will start growing soon and filling out.
