my cousin was interesteed in to stocking his new 125 with a ton of africans and i think i might do the same with one of mine, but have no idea what would get along
was thinking of getting a ton of shellies, wat other fish can i mix and match with them to give the tank a full look

well mikes recomendation it's okay exept for the leleupi..leleupi are known to kill shellies
there are many conbinations with shellies..but generaly almost all the neolamprologus genus may be ok, just stay away of the brichari comples fish..you can also try altolamprologus..maby some dwarf synodontis catfish..dwarf julies are ok but they are a bit nasty..
cyps are a excelent option.

yea i did a few hours of research and still have no idea have never kept any Africans before, but my parents say to make this tank nice and colorful or its going
so how should i go about stocking, how many shellies can i fit and what other fish can go
brevis, caudo's? also where to find holey rock or that nice rock everyone has
i feel like a noob right now

wow did not know about the leleipu... mine have been so good... lol I also have brichardi with them... I have a120 with all of that... I would looking into so more shellies multies maybe...

well the problem begun when leleupis simply grow or pair up
with bricharides the problem stars when they pair up...sinlgtons won't cause problems

yea that makes sense but they would work with neolamprologus or julies long term?
