I have 2 Marineland Emperor Bio-Wheel 400 Power Filters. I have a mairneland c-360 but it started leaking. Called Mairneland they are sending out a new pump head. I dont know if I can trust it again after leaking 30 gallons on my new carpet. Would just running the 400's be enough? Im getting 10 fronts monday. Plus have 4 clown and a bs pelco plus 3 rubber nosed plecos in my 125. Money is kinda tight. Give me some help on other filters cheap. Thanks

Building a sump 725 gph
Buying a fluval fx5 off of craigslist 900 gph

If money is an issue, hop on ebay and pick up a odyssea cfs-4 canister, i picked one up in a pinch for 65 bucks and it works like a champ, 325 gph, 4 trays of media, i cant complain

I've been running 2 Emperor 400s on my 125g for the last 4 and 1/2 years, so you should be fine with just those 2 running (at least temporarily, depends on your stock I guess).

One of my Emp400s recently started being fairly noisy (enough to make me notice it whenever I'm around the tank , I took it off the tank and did a full round of maintanence/cleaning it, but still noisy. If I can't fix it this week I think I'm going to order 2 AC70s to replace it (found a good deal on the AC70s, but not ac110).

Mairneland is sending out a new pump head. I guess they have a recall going on one the c220 and the c-360. Im going to run the filter in a 5gallon buck when I run it for a couple days. Hope the new pump head doesnt leak. I guess I just had a week of bad luck with my tank the heater just died. lol
