well my sump has been up and running for a few months or something like that and so far im very happy with it. when i move the tank i will make adjustments though like thicker glass and add 2 baffles but for the time being its been great. so here it is.
one of my filter socks was off at the time of picture

was working on the drip system so water level should be at between the bottom green and orange sticker.

full tank shot (kinda looks yellowish as i had binox in the tank)

few occupants (binox is now out so tile is back to whiteish :) )

the system is run by a reeflo hammerhead. thought i was going to have to valve it back but ended up not having to. i have the three hydor 4's on a timer to come on twice a day for a half hour but lately they have been unplugged and its clean. i might end up taking out but who knows. all in all im pretty happy. i drilled the tank, made the overflow box, did the plumbing, resealed the sump tank, and lots more. and for it to be running like i want it to i am amazed. felt really good to do it all also especially the first time i turned it on and it worked lol.

Looks good and your happpy. What a great day.

I would sugguest using thick zip ties to hole the sock on.

That is a good looking sump. You have enough bio for a 500 gallon tank LOL! That is a good thing. I loop zip ties on the handles of my sock filters and they hang the zip tie on the lip of the 90 degree elbow up top. This keep them from sliding down and makes them easy to take out. Those rays are looking super nice. I am really digging the light base marble. Is that one full blooded or one of the pearl marble crosses?
