125 g stocking

Hi guys,
I have an empty 125 72'' x 18'',heres the plan,what do you guys think?.Im going to put 7 2''-2.5'' fish in there and grow 'em out,stock will be from Rapps.I know I won't be able to keep them all long term,but I'm thinking maybe 3-4,I don't know.Here's what I'm putting in.
1 Amphilophus Lyonsi 2''-2.5''
1 Carpintis escondido ''
1 Friedrichsthalli ''
1 Managuense ''
1 Paratheraps fenestratus ''
1 Veija Argentea ''
1 Synspilus ''
How many of these fish long term? Thanks.

I bet you they all last in there long term , thats a pretty chill mix as far as aggression. make sure you have site breakers and caves, good luck

Give it a shot sounds like a cool mix. The jag and Freddy may not get along,but you never know.

All male tank or all female tank? My escondido is pretty mean. If you keep a mixed sex tank you run the risk of 2 fish pairing off and the aggression levels going off the charts.

My female parachromis motaguense just mated with my male carpintis and i had to take them out of the 125 and put them in a 75 alone. They were wreaking havoc on everyone else.

thats your only potential problem, its just tough with multiple aggressive fish in 1 tank. if your interested, you could look into a peaceful SA community i.e. earth eaters, severums, angel fish etc.

Thanks guys,devder1,I already have a 90 g with 6 G.pindare, 1 rotkeil sev and a small school of serpae tetras,beautiful tank.Do you think Rapps could sex all male for the fish listed at 2''-2.5''?
