I wanna try keeping fish that I've never worked with before, since most of my experience is with south american monsters (big cats, banded leporinus, SD's, etc.).

So, I was wondering if you could tell me how many of each fish would create an appropriate balance, along with which one of my empty tanks I should do this with.

Tank options: 6' x 18" standard-sized 125 gal or 4' x 2' x 2' 120 gal

So far, I've got 12 panda corys, and I'm looking to stock with:

rasboras
cardinal tetras
german blue rams

tank never work before would be a group of piranha with others..

I'm a big fan of biotope style tanks, all fish from the same area. Either very specific or in a more generalized style. I'd dump the rasboras and go with large schools of different tetras, several more groups of different cory's, some apistogrammas and maybe a couple of keyhole cichlids. Lots of driftwood and some plants and it'll look like a section of a real slow water stream.
