I just set up my 125 gal tank for freshwater. I have 2 110 AQ filters on it. My question is can you have to much filter on a tank or is this a good set up? Thanks,Robert

If your tank is understocked 2 AC110 would be enough. But if you're keeping large fishes, I suggest you add an XP3 or Fluval 405 canister filter.

Will a magnum 350 be ok? I can get one at a good price if that will be ok.

2ac110 and a mag350, should be awesome. Just CLEAN your filters Regularly.

25%-33% water changes weekly should help...

2 ac110 on a 125 is pretty good that's what i run on my tanks i have 3x 125 gal with a large spawning pair of cichlids in each and they do fine. Oh there is also a large sponge filter along with the 110's in each tank and i do 50% wc's every week and my nitrate paramiters have never gone over 40ppm.

i'm always a huge fan of the w/d...the biological filtration is awesome and u can always add on.if you do get a magnum 350 i'd just use is as a particulate filter to clean all the little crap outta u'r water and let the bigger filters filter the bigger crap.
