Here's my "semi-community" tang setup. Standard 6' 125 gallon with the folowing:

25 cyathopharnyx foai "kachese"
9 cyp micro "kavalla"
Pair of yellow calvus

Filtered by a sump with pond matrix and a rena xp3

wow those foai look really nice. amazing tank. do you by chance have some fry listed in aqaubid or something?

yea i remember emailing you before? i was really interested it just that i don't have the patience to grow fry as i am going in a different direction with my tank but hopefully i can get my hands on some adults foai. keep us updated. what other fish do you keep?
 
Other than this tank, besides a fry tank, I have a 180 with Petrochromis longola and tropheus brichardi bolumbora.

They don't take long to get large enough to show color. Maybe 3-4" which only takes 6-8 months.
 
Crazy how just having a rock between the dominant males stops them from caring too much about each other...good looking males for certain
 
Thanks everyone. Yeah, they need ladies and need to be the dominate species in their tank to look like that. Otherwise, very easy fish
