Does anyone have the Truvu 125 gallon in 1/4" thick acrylic? I have the oportunity to buy a used tank today only for $75. It's a really good deal but I don't want a turd either... If you have this tank will you tell me if it bows at all? That is my biggest concern with the tank is how badly I think it may bow. Anyone know from experience???

BTW the dims are standard 72" x 18" x 20" (tall)

THANKS!

as long as its only 20 high and it has the bracing it should be A-Ok

I guess we will see in a minute. :grinno: Just bought it. Paid $100 and got the tank, 2 Magnum 350 canisters and bunch of wood/other stuff.

I figure if it does bow I can sell it for what I paid as a reptile tank on CL. Now I have to go through the hugs box of stuff he gave me with it.... :nilly:

PICS IN A FEW MINUTES

New tank day.... $100 total. LOL! This thing looks tiny next to the 225g!

Came with:
x2 Magnum 350 canisters
x2 heaters (400W & 250W)
x2 Whisper air pumps (dual outlet kind)
Few decent pieces of wood
Buttload of nets/plastic plants rocks etc.. that are going right bck on CL... Come get em David or Kee if either of you are interested. Just shoot me a PM.

Filling now..... Like I said I can sell it if I don't like it. Got lots of work to do on the stand and canopy too.

Yeah it does but not too bad. It doesn't distort the view at all. What do you guys think? Ditch the tank or keep it? I can upgrade to a better tank later but for the price I kind of like it... And I was in a position where I needed to get another tank quickly.

The bow looking down the side of the tank long ways.
(garage is pretty messy, sorry)

The wood floats cuz it's been dry so long.

I barely see a bow... I'd keep it =]
